“THE ANGEL”2017
Acrylic on canvas, 100 x 150 cm
THE ANGEL symbolizes a intricate portrayal of the profound journey within the spiritual realm, concealed deep within us—imperceptible and beyond the reach of this world's constructs. The imagery encapsulating the angelic figure draws inspiration from the tenets of Orthodox angelic hierarchies, interwoven with my own artistic innovations. These amalgamated elements harmoniously unite to narrate an exquisite tale: the tale of an unconquerable spirit that has triumphed over the confines of the world.

"What if I said—you are me, or that my soul speaks with your voice? What if you and I are the same? But who are you, and who am I? Where do I end, and where do you begin, and vice versa? Why do we ask how many of us exist within the One? It's because each of us matters. We are many, yet we are called to become One in the presence of Divine Love."

'The worlds swarm around You, Lord, like bees around a blossoming cherry tree. One world suppresses another; they challenge each other's homeland; one sees the other as an intruder in his home. Each believes it has a greater right to You than You Yourself. From the overflow of Your fullness, the swarms are nourished—Sweetness Inexhaustible. Yet, though all overindulge, all remain hungry.'"

The Light That Loves and Transforms
In this work, poised at the threshold between myth and revelation, a male figure emerges—silent, yet powerful through his inner radiance. Bathed in shades of red, he does not speak of violence, but of a love that passes through sacrifice in order to give birth to light. Around his neck—a cross: not as ornament, but as a seal of faith. Christ, in His quiet strength, is not depicted directly here, but is present in the very breath of the form, in the illumination that comes not from without, but from within.
Two dimensions intertwine within the figure: one mythological, the other divine.
On one side, he bears the spirit of Lugh—the ancient Celtic god of light, knowledge, and art. Samildánach, as he was called—the one who masters all crafts, who unites all gifts in a single being. Lugh is the ray that inspired the Druids, guardians of ancient wisdom, a pale reflection of what Christ truly embodies.
For where Lugh symbolizes the light of human aspiration, Christ incarnates the eternal Light that redeems humanity. The cross around the neck is not a mythic symbol, but the mark of Truth that gave itself entirely.
Red, then, is more than an aesthetic choice—it is the blood of love, the seal of new creation, a divine warmth that sets the soul ablaze.
The figure stands between earth and heaven—an icon of the transfigured human, in whom love has risen into sacrifice, and sacrifice returned as light.
This is not merely a body on canvas. It is an inner icon, a whisper from the other world, calling the viewer not to possess—but to remember—the love that gives all, in order to save all.

"I will sow seeds, mustard, unseen—small, and seemingly lost in the 'earth,' but it will grow high to the sky if you water it with tears and cultivate it with love. It will become a shade in the heat of your tormented life. I will sow love, and if you long for it, it will grow!"

"We build towers, bring children into the world, acquire expensive possessions, and adhere to rules. Yet, we often measure our lives by the wrong standards, failing to see that while we believe we are rising in this world, we are actually falling—losing our capacity for pure love and inner peace. When the final moment arrives, and we are about to leave this life, our deepest desire will be to be prepared—to step into eternity with love, understanding that our time here was merely a profound preparation for the life that awaits us beyond.
As we near the crossing, we find ourselves increasingly alone. Just as we entered this world alone, so shall we depart alone, though our journey is accompanied by angels, God's unseen helpers. This image symbolizes the soul's transition to the next world. The figures diminishing in the light represent some of the nine ranks of angels. At the end of this journey, the gates of heaven open, and the soul is welcomed into the embrace of its heavenly Father."

"MOTHER AFRICA is the final artwork in the cycle inspired by the spiritual strength of the black man, who manages to preserve his spirit despite the ruthlessness of life’s circumstances. My deep respect goes to the combativeness, but also the tenderness, that keeps alive the most subtle urges of a being, in a way only possible and known to God. At the center, as a source of strength, the work contains the cross inscribed with the Orthodox Jesus Prayer. The cross, as the ultimate confirmation of love, is inevitably included in this work because the final message is that love is a life-giving sacrifice."

"To be a woman means to be prepared for any kind of suffering. Ultimate femininity lies in the readiness to love every human being as her own child—purely, deeply, with every atom of her being. To hold no one as unimportant or untamable, except for those who choose darkness, who choose not to love. The mother lives in both agony and mercy for all. The decision to choose light or darkness is the freedom given to us by the Creator. Glory to Him."

"I created this piece during a time when people were leaving this world in what felt like a cruel joke (COVID). Let it never happen again. While working on this, I had no idea my dear friend was sick. I began the artwork without understanding why I was drawing a mother and daughter. Initially, there was no intention for it to be vertically mounted. But at one point, I felt an overwhelming urge to flip the canvas, and that simple gesture took the work in an entirely different direction. The piece ultimately became a representation of a mother and daughter on a bier. Just two days after completing it, I received the heartbreaking news that my beloved Katerina had passed away in the hospital. This painting became my love and a prayerful tribute to her, as she departed this world to join her pre-deceased mother in peace."

"We all have individuals who are our comrades in the battles we face in life. Life clearly shows us the roles people play in our journey, and those who remain our comrades in the most delicate struggles until the end of our earthly lives are the ones who have embraced the noble mission of being light in this world, with their hearts. They are the pillars of charity in this world. Such is my brother, to whom I have dedicated this artwork. My soul knows no other way to help illuminate and open the paths I wish for him to walk, with the greatest joy and God's grace, than by sharing the gift God has given me—the ability to express myself through art. With my eyes fixed on the eternity of our Savior, Jesus Christ, my brother, I give you my light, so that it may shine upon you!"

"When all our strength, efforts, ideas, and skills aimed at reaching a goal are exhausted, something happens that shakes all our previous beliefs, teaching us that every effort and every goal must pass through God's blessing. "My artistic experience of my soul reveals that there are imprints and layers of ages, remnants of bones and beings, a symphony of lives sickened to give birth to that, mine, lavender-colored soul, once blue and purple, most precisely – the color of a chicory flower. On that meadow with the color of peace and the chicory flower, He stands, and upon the color that is me, He says back to me: I AM!"
The imagery suggests a personal transformation, a journey through time and experience, with the "lavender-colored soul" symbolizing the speaker’s essence, and the declaration "I AM!" reflecting a moment of recognition or divine connection. The use of color, particularly lavender, blue, purple, and chicory, serves as a metaphor for this soul’s evolution and identity.

There are battles in life that we win with strength, through determination and a firm grip. But there are also battles where our only task is to believe and witness how love triumphs for us, while we know nothing except that our duty is to let things unfold. And so, life moves forward.
The artwork is created using mixed media. My intention was to create obstacles that would physically challenge the delicacy of the angel's wings, yet still be overcome, emphasizing the triumph of pure angelic energy.

All of us living in the Emirates carry within us a diversity shaped by the place of our birth, our genes, and our cultural heritage. Yet here, in everyday life, we constantly encounter people different from ourselves, and whether we like it or not, those differences become a part of us. We begin to appreciate others' food, music, and culture. If you ask me what the Emirates means to me, I would say it is like a mother who has found a way to gather children from all over the world and teach them how to live together.

The painting depicts Jesus Christ crucified on the cross, who, in the agony of His final moments—when His soul merges with His Creator, the Father—frees our souls as well. This liberation is symbolically represented in the artwork as birds emerging, or rather being born, from the cross, which also serves as their nest, where they grow and develop until they are mature enough to fly.
Without the personal experience of the soul tasting the freedom Christ chose to give me—and, I believe, to many other souls who experience life as a call to embody eternity through absolute love, which is Christ—this story might simply seem prosaic or nostalgic. Yet, time and again, I felt that freedom and strength in my heart while working on this piece of art. I wish that everyone who stands before this painting may experience the same spiritual encounter, as an undeniable testament to an invisible meeting between the soul and the divine.
“ODE TO THE TRINITY” 2024
Mixed techniques on canvas,
100 X 70 cm
No 202449-O
The artwork titled "Ode to the Trinity" is a creative and symbolic representation of the Holy Trinity. The two large flowers, representing the Father and the Son, bloom with abundant joy that radiates through every color and tone, accompanied by angelic ranks of Thrones and Cherubim. The third presence, which gives life and proceeds from the Father, permeates these two flowers, filling everything with its essence.
The absence of a physical ground beneath the flowers and a sky above is deliberately replaced by a golden backdrop, symbolizing the glory of God. This gold, timeless and radiant, serves as the sustenance and environment of divine beings—and of us humans—when we recognize our personal unity with the One. It represents the inexhaustible source of life’s fullness, inviting a realization of the oneness between humanity and the divine.

I desire to inspire and express through preaching and art, aiming to enrich the significance of women. However, can I offer her more than the purpose God has bestowed upon her? She is a co-creator of this world, embodying the essence of everyday life, joy, and mercy. It is vital for us to consistently acknowledge the value of educating women and nurturing their good character, while also loving and respecting them. With joy and a smile, they carry the weight of humanity's continuity. A contented woman contributes to a harmonious planet. Let us collaborate and strive towards this goal collectively.
“WORLD MAPS AS REFLECTIONS OF HUMAN GREED” 2024
Mixed techniques on canvas,
90 x 90 cm
No 202452-O
"This artwork represents my vision of world maps and the reasons behind the changing borders of countries. It is divided into four zones, each illustrating a phase of world history and the formation of borders over time. The first zone represents a 'pure' period when boundaries were natural or God-given (rivers, mountains, sand belts). Each state, defined by these natural borders, has its own center of power (symbolized in gold), and life under this organization of power and resources is peaceful.
The second zone, the 'First Degree of Greed,' depicts four centers of power that disrupt the natural order through greed, seizing control from the people. This shift sparks increasing dissatisfaction (represented by red circles symbolizing suffering, radiating from the power centers).
As discontent escalates, nations reclaim power through bloody wars, leading to the 'Second Degree of Greed,' marked by red borders and rivers of blood. In the final zone, the 'Third Degree of Greed,' everything culminates in ashes and oceans of blood.":
"The question I want to raise with this work of art is: Will it matter to the common man where the borders of this beautiful world are drawn when all the power belongs to greed?"

The artwork is teeming with strategically positioned figures, arranged in zones or layers reminiscent of the earth's geological strata. These layers symbolize Macedonia's rich history, as evidenced by various artifacts like the golden mask, the Maenad, and clay altars infused with a golden hue, alongside organic worm-like figures that seem to invade the space, representing adversaries of Truth and Macedonia. They depict historical theft and appropriation, echoing even in contemporary times. In the central layer of the artwork, prominent figures stand against a golden backdrop. On the left, the Archangel Gabriel, a fresco from the 1191 Church of St. George in Kurbinovo, Macedonia, exemplifies the Comnenian style of painting. On the right, "The Great Mother," an altarpiece from Macedonia's Neolithic era, adds to this rich tapestry of historical representation.Ultimately, this artwork serves as a passionate plea for truth, a celebration of homeland, and a reminder of one's ancestral heritage
"MACEDONIA, THE ALTAR OF THE AGES"
Tapestry
dimensions 110 x 60 cm
Textile, clay, golden leaves, golden wire, threads
🔻
About the artwork:
Here, within the crimson body of silence,
the artefacts are not mere objects—
they are living presences,
speaking more powerfully through stillness than words ever could.
They are not only the past but also an inspired present.
This is not a museum. This is an altar.
🔻
This tapestry is a call to the viewer—
a call to become part of the restoration of the sacred.
It invites us to receive the silence of the past, not as a closed chapter,
but as the beginning of a renewed spirituality.
Within this work, Macedonia is not just a land— she is a temple.
🔻
The red that envelops the piece is the blood of the people, the colour of the Macedonian flag,
but also a universal archetype of sacrifice, love, and defiance.
It carries the inner heat of a collective memory, its pulse felt in every thread.
🔻
The entire surface is rendered on hemp textile,
chosen for its organic, archaic strength
and its symbolic connection to the earth and to feminine energy.
At the heart of the piece are terracotta replicas of Neolithic figures discovered across the territory of Macedonia— not presented as archaeological exhibits, but as living witnesses, standing on this sacred composition with dignity and light.
🔻
Each figure holds a role in the cosmology of this altar:
• The Golden Mask, at the centre, radiates timeless worth and echoes royal ancestry.
• The Archangel Michael, positioned above, watches as protector and messenger.
• The Menada from Tetovo, placed below, embodies feminine mystery and sacred movement.
• The Sun of Kutleš pulses at the base as a symbol of divine energy and identity.
• A textile ornament, reimagined in painted clay, remembers the hands of Macedonian women, preserving heritage through woven ritual.
